FolderCard

FolderCard started from a simple idea I kept returning to: folders for life, cards for everything. People and teams need nested structure for notes and knowledge, but they also need discrete, shareable units — cards — that can hold a checklist, a credential reference, a brief, or a sealed secret without exposing the whole workspace.

I built FolderCard as a Knowledge OS for individuals, families, and small teams who want one place to organize information, collaborate in chat, and share selectively. Workspaces live at branded subdomains like yourteam.foldercard.com, so each group gets its own environment without managing separate infrastructure.

The platform combines nested folders, rich cards, team chat, shareable workspaces, and integration with AzAd Vault for sealed secrets. I designed the permission model so sharing can be as narrow as a single card or as broad as an entire folder tree, depending on what the moment requires.

FolderCard is live at foldercard.com. I treat it as a long-term knowledge product — the kind of system I want to use myself — and I keep extending it as real usage surfaces new patterns for how people store, retrieve, and protect information together.
