Multilingual website for Saudi Society for Food & Nutrition
I designed and built ssfn.org.sa as a bilingual public site for the Saudi Society for Food & Nutrition — society news, programs, and member-facing resources in Arabic and English.

Problem
The society needed a credible online presence that could serve both Arabic-speaking members and international partners in food science and nutrition. Their previous digital footprint did not reflect the scale of their programs or make it easy to publish society news, event updates, and educational resources. Leadership wanted a site that felt authoritative for a Saudi nonprofit while remaining accessible to English readers and search engines.

Approach
I started by mapping the society's content pillars — news, programs, leadership, and member resources — and structuring the information architecture so Arabic and English pages stay paired without duplicating maintenance work. I chose a WordPress-based stack the client team could update themselves, with typography and spacing tuned for long-form Arabic text and clean English equivalents.
I handled domain setup, responsive theming, and SEO foundations so ssfn.org.sa would present well on mobile across Saudi Arabia. Throughout the build I worked directly with Prof. Al-Shatawi's team to refine copy, imagery, and navigation until the site matched their vision for a professional food-science society presence.
