AzAd Smart Downloader

I built AzAd Smart Downloader because most download managers either nag for accounts or quietly phone home. Every scan and setting stays local to your browser — I never collect or transmit your download data.

What it does

When you need to pull many files from a page—course materials, media assets, documentation packs—the extension finds candidate links, lets you filter by type or pattern, and queues a batch with progress you can actually trust. Interrupted downloads resume without restarting from zero. The UI stays out of the way: select, confirm, and let the queue run while you keep browsing.

Under the hood the architecture is privacy-first. Scan results live in extension storage on your machine. There is no analytics SDK, no cloud sync of your link lists, and no account gate to unlock basic batching. That choice limits some features on purpose; if a capability would require sending your browsing context to a server, I leave it out.

Built for real workflows

Whether you are archiving resources for a project, mirroring a documentation tree, or collecting assets for a design handoff, Smart Downloader handles the queue while keeping your data private. I publish it on the Chrome Web Store for Chrome and Edge, and I keep the privacy policy aligned with the product: local processing first.
